Adrian Beckingham

With a lifelong history of spearheading environmental and societal campaigns — from protecting whales and ancient forests to frontline affirmative action preventing child trafficking — Adrian Beckingham is a multi-award-winning Master Storyteller and adventurer who has worked with clients as diverse as The British Museum, Mind, Survival International, and Glastonbury Festival. A graduate of Counselling Fear & Sadness, The Oral History Project, and Medical Ethics at the Open University, Adrian’s formal studies are deeply complemented by over 30 years of global fieldwork alongside indigenous shamans, healers, and elders. His journey into traditional medicine began in the 1980s with the course Aboriginal Australian Medicine & Culture, marking the start of a lifelong exploration into the earth-based healing traditions of tribal peoples. From the Amazon to the Outback, from Native American mesas to Himalayan sanctuaries, Adrian has immersed himself in the ancestral wisdom and healing practices of indigenous lineages. These encounters have yielded remarkable experiences — from a tree dropping a branch to save him from quicksand, to his own recovery from stage 3 cancer through story-based ritual healing, and assisting what many might consider "miraculous" healing in others. In this intimate group coaching session, Adrian will share some of his most treasured indigenous medicine stories — oral traditions passed down for thousands of years — alongside a practical, interactive workshop. Participants will learn how these ancient narratives, when combined with guided meditation techniques and ritual practices, can awaken the body’s innate ability to heal, rejuvenate, and restore balance. The aim is to inspire, empower, and educate — offering each participant a tangible understanding of how ancient mythos, ritual, and meditation can be consciously woven together to heal oneself and others.
